Lot of things happening, and I'm glad that you are still here for the ride. We've been busy, despite the need to cut back in a few places like the chaps and reviews, which have been admittedly sporadic. October is always a busy month because of our quarterly sections, we have to get a lot of content ready at the same time. So Poetry
is new, Fiction is new
, and issue #9 of Blink Ink
is out featuring short fiction and photography by Eleanor Bennett. Submissions are open, and subscriptions are available. We take paypal now, too. (link)
Heading into November, we have new issues of MUST streetzine
coming out, available by request. We have issue #16 featuring the Poets For Change event, and issues 17-22 are coming. We will be doing a few Occupy related issues which will be available to download, print, distribute like all issues of MUST have been and will continue to be. They are always free to copy and spread.
Submissions are open for the winter issue of MiCrow (check it out here)
, the flash fiction ebook supplement at Full Of Crow, edited by Michael Solender. The guidelines page has been updated, so check it out if you are interested in submitting.
The Literary Underground (link)
is a small press resource/community organized by Michele McDannold (Red Fez)
and we now have some radio programs scheduled. (link to info/show page)
I will be doing a show with Paul Corman-Roberts and the first will be on November 18th at 11 pm EST. The topic is the term "underground" itself, what it means, if it applies. For more information, I will have the upcoming shows posted on my blog
before they air with a brief description of the topic. There's a blurb about this first one on there. All welcome to call in and voice an opinion.
What else? We have new reviews here.
New interviews coming to PRATE here.
We are beating the drum about a lot of things, I know. But thank you as always for supporting the crow and for sending in your work, and reading. We really have some great work and we are lucky to have it, seriously. We are lucky and we know it.
Please get in touch if you want information about anything above. More to come. Onward, Lynn
Please support our poets, writers, artists, and projects by spreading the word.
