November 5: Bitchez Brew, San Francisco (website): The first Bitchez Brew Reading is happening at Viracocha SF, 998 Valencia Street in San Francisco this coming Friday, November 5th. The lineup (not necessarily in this order) is as follows: Valerie Chavez/Paul Corman-Roberts/Meg Day/Rebekah Edwards/Jonathan I. Hirsch/Kathleen Wood. This follows in the tradition of the literary resurgence which has washed over the San Francisco Bay Area since the 2009 LitQuake Festival, whose interactive and multi-media potential has realized a vast audience not seen by Bay Area authors since the mimeo and small press revolution that enabled the Beat Movement. We haven’t had our “Howl @ the Gallery 6″ moment just yet, nor do we necessarily need it…we simply want to make good on the promise of then and now, and the Bitchez Brew Reading Series, with it’s nod to Miles Davis Landmark fusion album of mind bending genre means to help promote just that.”
November 15: Yippie Cafe, Bleecker St, NYC: Monday, 6:30-8:30. (website) DDAY Productions presents Jive Turkey, poetry and performance hosted by Big Mike & Puma Perl, Features – Faux Maux (Mo Kelly), Lynn Alexander, Amy Ouzoonian.
December 15: East Bay Zine and Book Fair: Full Of Crow will have a table at the East Bay Zine/Book Fair!
2011
January 8-9: Michael Solender and Lynn Alexander hang in Charlotte, NC.
February: Bitchez Brew @Viracocha, SF.
August 6: Half Moon Books, Kingston. Full of Crow Poets will be hosted by Rebecca Schumejda in Kingston, NY. More events are in the works so please get in touch if you plan to be in the Hudson Valley area or have an event or reading and want to collaborate.
