Roberta Chloe Verdant, 7/12

Red as sex and pomegranate spills.
I am words unsaid. Your belly’s tightness.
Thickened soft flesh and rivers

ancient iron-rich dispersion. Wash me
at the Mikvah: cool tiles, fresh water. I
deserve ritual.

I am tongues unfurling
from your body. I make you scream
fuck sob wild and raw. I am everything.

Every day, every month. Flowing.

Remember me.

Remember me.
