Daybreak
It is a lifeless morning, a thick mist has settled in
I can’t see the street from my window. The soft
steady glow of candles and aroma of vanilla
pervades the room. There is a quiet that is gentle
yet annoying. Hum of the fan gives rise to a
series of yawns as I listen to various rhythms of
high heels strutting along the sidewalk.
Misty morning
Glow of candles
Sweet vanilla
Hum of fan
Rhythm of heels
There is a quiet that is gentle yet annoying. I yawn and
watch the coffee brew.
