GOD WILL FORGIVE YOU <\/span><\/p>\n

God will forgive you. <\/span><\/p>\n

The mad dog\u2019s bite will be upon you.<\/span>
\n Even when you\u2019re a corpse the impression<\/span>
\n will be there.\u00a0 Face up in your coffin<\/span>
\n your cold body will smell like rotten teeth.<\/span>
\n No one will come to visit you.\u00a0 You will<\/span>
\n be one of the unforgiven on earth, but<\/span><\/p>\n

God will forgive you. <\/span><\/p>\n

Beneath the earth your soulless bones<\/span>
\n won\u2019t reveal the gaping wound on your<\/span>
\n flesh turned to ash.\u00a0\u00a0 Your identity and<\/span>
\n your name will be unknown.\u00a0 Not a soul<\/span>
\n will cry for you where you waste away.<\/span>
\n No one will know your religion.<\/span><\/p>\n

This will be your homeland. <\/span><\/p>\n

There will come a day when all of this<\/span>
\n ugliness will rub off on someone.<\/span>
\n You will hear someone cry at your grave,<\/span>
\n some child who talks to your ghost.<\/span>
\n The wind will blow strong at the cemetery.<\/span>
\n Kites will crash into the trees.<\/span>
\n Birds will fall dead by the dozens.<\/span>
\n Long lines of funeral marchers will stop by,<\/span>
\n sharing a smoke, chattering like crows.<\/span><\/p>\n
