\nbed covers
\ninspired mentors
\nof quiet
\nto view
\nrest
\nwith
\nwhat is:
\nimpending loss
\noccuring loss
\nexquisitely
\nequivalent
\nto gain<\/p>\n

flatness
\nskin-like qualities
\nopaque and clear
\nprotect me
\nfrom what I imagine
\nis
\ntoo much
\nwhat I cannot keep
\ntrack of
\nin its midst
\nwhat I need
\nto stand
\nback
\nfrom<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Peace that is Sand<\/strong><\/p>\n

vast
\nSaharan
\nsand
\nso free it will
\nnot cling
\nwill not nourish
\nyou say
\nbut gives
\nstays next
\nto you
\ncame before
\nand will
\noutlast you
\nwill never
\nbe made
\nfrom you
\nwithout a wish
\nwill accept you<\/p>\n
