Melodies by Bach<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

An angel climbing a ladder<\/p>\n

But the ladder<\/p>\n

Is upside down<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

When she notices this,<\/p>\n

She laughs<\/p>\n

And laughs<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

II.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Sounds of frogs<\/p>\n

And birds<\/p>\n

Over a serene<\/p>\n

Little lake<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The trees stand<\/p>\n

Straight<\/p>\n

The sky<\/p>\n

Darkens but<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Moonlight shimmers<\/p>\n

Off the water\u2019s<\/p>\n

Surface<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I put my love\u2019s<\/p>\n

Hand<\/p>\n

In mine,<\/p>\n

And kiss it<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This is<\/p>\n

The delight of the mind<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

III.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The sunlight<\/p>\n

Gently pushes<\/p>\n

Through the shades<\/p>\n

Of our bedroom<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It brushes against my piles<\/p>\n

Of papers and books<\/p>\n

On the windowsill<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Hearing my heavy breathing,<\/p>\n

It wakes me from a nightmare I was having<\/p>\n

Where I was being chased by wolves<\/p>\n

In the midst of a murky swamp<\/p>\n

I hate wet socks<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

IV.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A complaint<\/p>\n

In minor chords<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Sitting in an old hall<\/p>\n

With extravagant architecture<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I have forgotten<\/p>\n

So much<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

V.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A cat walking<\/p>\n

On the escalator,<\/p>\n

Little Sisyphus<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

VI.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

What to<\/p>\n

Do<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

What<\/p>\n

To do<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Only sit<\/p>\n

And pray<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

That sitting<\/p>\n

In prayer<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Is the answer<\/p>\n

To our problems<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n
