Joint Custody<\/strong><\/p>\n

You were gone
\nwhen I got home
\nat midnight
\nfrom a double shift.
\nNow you\u2019re back,
\ntwo years later.
\nI had no idea
\nwhere you went
\nso I packed up
\nand got a room.
\nLong ago,
\nI begged you
\nnot to leave
\nbut that was then.
\nYou can keep
\nthe house, the car.
\nI’ll come by
\nsome starry night
\nwhen the moon is bright
\nand you’re asleep.
\nI promise not to
\nwake the dogs.
\nWhen you get up
\nyou’ll find
\nI used my key
\nto take the kids.<\/p>\n
