Trowbridge, October 2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Coyote Leukocyte<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The coyote population of the world is at an all-time high.<br \/>\nThis is because coyotes are part of cities.<br \/>\nThe urban bodies grow massive, plump,<br \/>\napartments ripen with people, rural routes extend across the dirt,<br \/>\nand people carry plagues that sicken cities,<br \/>\nso the cities create an immune system.<\/p>\n<p>Cities create coyotes.<br \/>\nCoyotes are part of the immune system<br \/>\nthat kept Niagara Falls healthy.<\/p>\n<p>Buenos Aires suffered cholera,<br \/>\nbut coyotes ate our rats.<\/p>\n<p>Thunder Bay has the Hanta Virus,<br \/>\nbut coyotes eat our mice.<\/p>\n<p>Cairo has the West Nile Virus,<br \/>\nbut coyotes eat slowed birds.<\/p>\n<p>Raccoons bring rabies into Toronto attics,<br \/>\nbut coyotes account for less than one percent of Ontario\u2019s rabies cases<br \/>\nover the last forty years.<\/p>\n<p>Scourges of groundhogs devour crops,<br \/>\nbut not in coyote Niagara.<\/p>\n<p>Sydney almost starved from rabbits,<br \/>\nbut coyotes welcome a warm season.<\/p>\n<p>Our creeks will not choke<br \/>\nwith suckerfish and water snakes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Coyote Leukocyte The coyote population of the world is at an all-time high.
