Oh isn’t it pitiful<\/strong><\/p>\n

You shook my hand
\nlooked me straight
\nin the eye
\nsaid sign on the dotted line
\nand all would be alright
\nand that’s where
\nyou fucked me
\nwith your
\nbig bright beautiful smile.
\nWith age
\nI’ve learned how to
\ndeal with men like you.
\nI don’t deal with you at all.
\nSo straighten your tie
\nand fuck off.<\/p>\n

Mikel K is a poet and memoirist living in Atlanta, Ga. K was voted best Atlanta Poet, the last three years in a row, by readers of Creative Loafing,<\/em> Atlanta’s weekly newspaper. He has a BS in English with a minor in Journalism from Georgia State University.<\/p>\n
