\"\"<\/a>Full Of Crow Poetry: January 2010<\/p>\n

Bridges are human-made structures that connect the separate realms of the living.<\/p>\n

It seemed fitting to open my debut editorial issue with Gail Gray\u2019s The Quintessential Language of Bridges<\/em><\/strong>. As<\/em> this issue emerged and took form, what I found most intriguing,\u00a0 despite the unique voices of each poet, were the connections \u2014the relationships between poems\u2014the appearance of creatures\u2014cats from Spain, puffy pawed dogs, the violated crayfish, and the Cheeto eating x-box player, all coming together in what Lisa Zaran captures so well in her small poem, Bamboo: <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201c<\/strong>There are instances I find my hands,<\/em><\/p>\n

rare occasions my voice cries<\/em><\/p>\n

out from a throat,<\/em><\/p>\n

I thought was yours<\/em><\/p>\n

Perhaps, that is what drives poetry\u2014the need to write it, and the need to share it\u2014 I am grateful to each writer in this issue, for sharing the ethereal nature of writing and reading\u2014the sublime which Stephen Jarrell Williams depicts in the minimalist treasures of his haiku \u201clight sky air.\u201d<\/p>\n
